Taoro, the kingdom of Mount Teide
Taoro was the most powerful of the nine Guanche kingdoms — covering the entire La Orotava valley and the northern flank of Mount Teide, with the volcano itself as sacred ground. Ruled by mencey Bencomo, it was the last to fall to the Castilians. The house inherits that scale: 85 sqm of double-height space, the longest stays of the group.
The character of the house
Casa Taoro is the largest. Designed for small families (2 adults + 2 children), creative couples on 7-14 night work retreats, or professionals who need room to work and rest without crowding.
Two separate bedrooms (one king bed, one with two singles), double-height living room with exposed beams, full open kitchen with oven. The longest dining table of any of the four.

In the village centre of El Tanque, Calle Granero 10, 760 m above sea level on Tenerife's northern strip. 15 min by car from Garachico, 50 min from Mount Teide National Park, 1 h from the Northern airport (TFN).
